Job Summary
Configure hardware and software tools, troubleshoot issues, and build out network and tech infrastructure to ensure IT systems consistently support Starfish employees and company goals. Manage IT and facilities support across a growing satellite servicing mission team, handling whatever else is required to maintain operational stability. Work from our Tukwila, Washington office in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment. This role supports Starfish Space's mission to deliver satellite servicing missions for major clients including SES, the U.S. Space Force, NASA, and others.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a US person due to ITAR regulations (citizen, permanent resident, or designated asylee / refugee)
- Willing to work from our office in Tukwila, Washington
- Associate or Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field
- Capable of working in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience configuring and managing IT systems and networking infrastructure
- Comfort working within Linux and Windows operating systems
- Ability to quickly learn new hardware and software platforms
- Familiarity with US Government export control regimes (e.g., ITAR) and cybersecurity requirements (e.g., CMMC) a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent judgment and first-principles problem-solving skills
