Job Summary
The Information Technology Manager will oversee the technology infrastructure across multiple hotel properties, ensuring secure, compliant, and efficiently operated IT systems. Responsibilities include managing hardware/software, maintaining software licensing and security, assisting guests and staff with technical issues, and keeping systems up-to-date. Duties include administering and auditing IT processes, maintaining inventory, responding to helpdesk tickets, providing hands-on training for HOTSOS, Rex, and Oasis Systems, coordinating with vendors, and collaborating with IT and Engineering teams on system maintenance and development. The role requires 4+ years IT experience in hospitality, a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), proficiency with Microsoft products and hotel applications (Opera, MICROS, Oracle), strong leadership and communication skills, and a willingness to be available on a 24-hour basis as needed.
Required Qualifications
- At least 4 years of IT experience in a hotel or hospitality context preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in business, management, IT or equivalent of 4 years relevant work experience required
- Office 365 integration and administration experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Experience with Opera, MICROS, Oracle hotel applications; familiarity with Oasis, Mitel, Inncom, Saflok, Vincard or similar guest-services systems is a plus
- Supervisory experience required to finish assigned projects and tasks
- Strong leadership, communication, and guest-service skills
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, and government regulations; ability to write reports and procedures
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced hotel environment
- Willingness to work extended hours including evenings and weekends as needed
- Must be able to work with vendors and staff to implement technology solutions
- Ability to train staff on technical systems and provide hands-on support
