Job Summary
IT Manager for Enterprise Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) leading Teamcenter strategy and delivery. Own the enterprise Teamcenter PLM platform lifecycle from strategic roadmap through implementation, upgrades, and continuous improvement across global divisions. Drive value delivery using Teamcenter Active Workspace Client (AWC), develop division-specific PLM roadmaps aligned with manufacturing objectives and engineering workflows, and champion PLM as a value-creation engine. Responsibilities include coordinating PLM strategy, ensuring integration with CAD/ERP/MES and other enterprise systems, and driving end-user adoption and partner satisfaction. Requires 10+ years in PLM/Engineering/Manufacturing IT, 5+ years with Siemens Teamcenter (AWC deployments), leadership experience, and a Bachelor's degree in a related field. Travel ~15% domestically and internationally. Location options: Charlotte, NC or Corning, NY. This position does not support immigration sponsorship.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline and/or equivalent work experience
- 10+ years of progressive experience in PLM, Engineering, or Manufacturing IT within a global environment
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Siemens Teamcenter, including Active Workspace Client (AWC) deployments
- 5+ years leading teams, setting performance standards, and developing people in a technical delivery environment
- Demonstrated experience delivering Teamcenter implementations, platform upgrades, and driving continuous improvement within a Teamcenter environment
- Experience with enterprise integration connecting PLM to ERP, CAD, MES, or other critical business systems
- Working proficiency in SDLC and Agile/waterfall hybrid delivery methodologies
- Experience driving organizational change management-managing the people side of technology change to ensure adoption and sustained value
- Experience in a manufacturing environment with understanding of engineering design practices, product lifecycle processes, and manufacturing workflows
- U.S. Person required (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident) due to ITAR requirements
