Job Summary
Oversee and maintain all IT infrastructure and systems in the manufacturing facility, while managing the IT budget, vendor relationships, and procurement for operations. Develop and implement IT policies to ensure data security and operational efficiency, and lead the IT support team through technical guidance and performance management. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify technology solutions that improve manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and managing disaster recovery and business continuity planning for critical systems. This role requires 7+ years of IT experience with at least 3 years in a leadership position within a manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of IT experience
- At least 3 years in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment
- Proven experience managing ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Infor) and their integration with manufacturing operations
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices and experience implementing security measures in an industrial setting
- Demonstrated ability to manage IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and end-user support, across multiple manufacturing sites
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) implementations or support
- Familiarity with industrial automation and control systems (SCADA, PLC, DCS)
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for operational technology (OT) environments
- Certifications in ITIL, PMP, or other relevant project management or service management frameworks
- Experience with ERP systems specific to manufacturing (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, Oracle ERP Cloud, Microsoft Dynamics 365)
