IT Manager or Lead (Onsite)

Job Summary
Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise IT infrastructure. Manage and support Cisco Meraki networking (LAN/WAN, firewall, VPN); administer VMware ESXi/vSphere environments including VM provisioning, performance tuning, and high availability; oversee Windows Server infrastructure (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy). Partner with engineering teams to support onboarding, configuration, and connectivity of equipment to the network, ensuring performance, security, and compliance. Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of all infrastructure systems; design and maintain secure network architectures with segmentation, firewalls, and VPNs. Manage and support processes around technical building infrastructure (cameras, badging, security, etc.). Provide day-to-day on-site support as needed and collaborate with end-users at all levels.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of IT infrastructure experience with leadership responsibilities
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki (LAN/WAN, firewall, VPN)
- VMware ESXi / vSphere
- Windows Server (2016/2019/2022)
- Deep understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, VPN)
- Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, tools, and best practices
- Experience with vulnerability management, endpoint protection, and system hardening
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience with backup, disaster recovery, and high availability solutions
- Ability to lead projects and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to make decisions under pressure
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation habits
