Job Summary
Oversee and maintain all IT infrastructure and systems in a manufacturing environment while developing strategies to support production goals. Manage IT projects including system upgrades and migrations, ensure data security and availability, and provide technical support and training to staff. Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, manage vendor relationships for manufacturing software and hardware, and implement disaster recovery plans. Requires 5+ years of IT management experience with ERP and industrial control systems knowledge. This role is available through the Pivot Group Network for candidates in the West Michigan manufacturing region seeking long-term fit with partner companies.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in IT management, preferably within a manufacturing environment
- Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of IT professionals
- Strong understanding of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and their application in manufacturing
- Experience with industrial control systems (ICS) and operational technology (OT)
- Demonstrated project management skills for IT infrastructure and software implementation
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with SCADA systems
- Familiarity with ERP systems used in manufacturing (e.g., SAP, Oracle EBS)
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for industrial control systems (ICS)
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP, Agile)
