Job Summary
First dedicated IT leader to build, own, and scale Javvy's internal technology environment from the ground up. Responsible for day-to-day IT operations to long-term security, systems strategy, policy development, and governance. Design and implement systems, processes, and safeguards to keep the team productive, secure, and compliant. Own IT operations (devices, lifecycle, MDM), IAM (onboarding/offboarding, least-privilege), cybersecurity initiatives (endpoint protection, MFA, SSO), AI governance, Google Workspace administration, data protection, business continuity, vendor relationships (including PEO), and comprehensive IT policies and documentation. Balances hands-on execution with strategic thinking in a startup/high-growth context, and communicates effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Google Workspace Administrator certification
- Experience owning or heavily contributing to IT in a startup or high-growth environment
- Strong experience with device management, identity/access management, and SaaS ecosystems
- Understand cybersecurity fundamentals and have implemented security practices in real environments
- Familiarity with API security, access governance, and modern AI tooling considerations in the workplace
- Proactive, organized, and able to build structure where there is ambiguity
- Clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
