IT Manager (IT support)

Job Summary
Lead a dedicated IT Support team of 12-15 FTE, ensuring user inquiries are handled with precision and technical issues are resolved promptly to minimize business impact. Oversee day-to-day operations including workload planning, resource allocation, scheduling, and capacity management to consistently meet service levels. Serve as the escalation point for complex technical issues, providing expert guidance on fault diagnosis and resolution. Identify individual development needs through the performance framework, offering coaching, feedback, and training to enhance skills and career growth. Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders as a trusted partner who understands business requirements. Set clear objectives and performance expectations for direct reports to foster accountability and compliance with company policies. This hybrid role is based in Varsseveld with an expectation of on-site presence at least three days per week.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- At least 4 years of experience in IT support environments
- Proven experience leading and developing teams of 10+ people
- Ability to handle a broad range of technical and operational challenges
- Strong people leadership skills
- Ability to act as a trusted advisor to the leadership team on people strategy, talent development, engagement, and organizational growth
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills
- Strong customer focus
- Ability to build trusted partnerships across the business
- Demonstrated ability to lead by example
- Ability to foster a culture of continuous learning and feedback
