Job Summary
Hands-on IT Manager leading daily IT operations across multiple offices, owning the internal ticketing and desktop support queue, Microsoft 365 administration, endpoint provisioning (Windows/iOS), and multi-office network operations; drives AI adoption, builds repeatable AI-assisted workflows, analyzes vendor reports and compliance dashboards, and manages vendor portfolios and contracts with an eye toward cost-benefit over multi-year horizons. Growth path includes potential progression toward IT Director, with emphasis on practical AI integration, data handling, and governance; requires strong judgment, communication, and ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical staff.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, information systems, business analytics, or equivalent professional experience
- 5 to 8 years in IT operations or related field
- Experience with Microsoft 365 administration and Azure AD
- Experience with network concepts and cybersecurity fundamentals
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, information systems, business analytics, or equivalent professional experience
- 5 to 8 years in IT operations, IT audit, business / data analysis, or related field
- Experience in a regulated or professional-services environment preferred
- Experience with Microsoft 365 administration, Entra / Azure AD
- Familiarity with multi-office network concepts, cybersecurity, and vendor management
- Certifications (preferred) such as CompTIA suites, MS-900/MD-102, ITIL Foundation, AWS/Azure fundamentals, or CC/Security+ (if any)
