Job Summary
The IT Manager provides technical and resource services in the installation, operation, and troubleshooting of computers and associated peripherals. Key responsibilities include maintaining network security, addressing issues affecting multiple users, offering support and mentoring staff, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. The role requires at least two years of IT experience in a healthcare setting, strong communication and organizational skills, as well as advanced problem-solving abilities. An Associate Degree in computer technology is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Successful completion of two-year college curriculum in computer technology preferred
- Planning, organizing, and completing assigned work in a timely manner
- Preparing reports and statements
- Clear and concise communication skills, both verbal and written
- Professional and courteous customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Time management skills
- Advanced computer troubleshooting/problem solving skills
Desired Qualifications
- Prior Work Experience in a healthcare setting
- Experience maintaining network security and email
- Technical Training in computer technology, including maintenance of servers, networks, and email
- Knowledge of HIPAA requirements and related security of data
