Job Summary
Lead IT Operations by converting strategic roadmaps into executable workstreams with explicit deliverables, success metrics, and deadlines. Own the entity's endpoint fleet, office network, Data Center, and Disaster Recovery Center, directing the transition from on-premise infrastructure to cloud technology while ensuring financial industry compliance and closing audit findings. Manage critical incident resolution, coach the team toward outcome ownership, and align initiatives with group Application and Identity verticals. Engage C-level stakeholders, vendors, and regulators to drive process improvements and knowledge management. Based in Jakarta, this role requires 7+ years of IT operations experience and leads a team accountable to measurable outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Proven ability to convert a strategic direction into a set of well-defined tasks for other people to execute
- Current hands-on proficiency with DELL EMC server and storage hardware
- Current hands-on proficiency with Proxmox VE or a comparable hypervisor
- Current hands-on proficiency with Ceph or another distributed storage system
- Current hands-on proficiency with Grafana or a comparable observability stack
- Current hands-on proficiency with SAN storage
- Demonstrated experience standing up an IT function from zero
- Experience covering service model, asset management, onboarding and offboarding, and incident handling
- Proven experience defining and tracking team performance metrics
- Demonstrated ability to move a team from instruction-driven execution to outcome ownership
- Working understanding of the financial industry's compliance and security standards
- Direct experience handling audit findings and engaging regulators
- Experience negotiating and managing vendor contracts and SLA commitments
- Demonstrated ability to hold a vendor accountable to quality standards
- Demonstrated ability to map on-premise infrastructure concepts to cloud-equivalent architecture across compute, storage, networking, and virtualization
- Working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform or a comparable public cloud provider
- Bachelor Degree or Master Degree in the field of science or engineering
- At least 7 years of experience in IT operations or enterprise infrastructure
- At least 2 years leading or managing a technical team
- Aptitude towards fundamental concepts within enterprise IT, for example: Directory Service, SSO and MFA technologies, collaboration platform technologies, high availability design, disaster recovery planning, and network fundamentals
- Non-technical aptitude towards IT budget ownership, such as cost justification and vendor cost negotiation
- High sense of ownership of job scope and managed portfolios
- Ability to work within gray areas
- Resilience to find solutions in such situations
- Excellent command of English and Bahasa Indonesia
- Ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
