Job Summary
The IT Lead Developer role involves leading project teams and providing subject matter expertise across information systems analysis, requirements gathering, feasibility studies, design and implementation of multi-platform solutions, database administration, system security, and performance optimization. Responsibilities include coordinating with systems, network, and database administrators to ensure integrated designs, analyzing network and OS requirements, defining security standards, researching emerging threats, and guiding professional staff to deliver strategic system and application development. The position requires advanced technical expertise, independent judgment, and the ability to lead complex IT initiatives, including architecture design, vendor communication, testing, and execution of implemented solutions. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field and six years of relevant experience are required, with a preference for senior-level leadership and a proven track record in delivering large-scale information systems projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- Six (6) years of work experience performing development and analysis in a comparable complex information systems environment
- Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience may be considered for the above requirements
