Job Summary
IT Project Manager (Contract) leads a portfolio of IT member services projects within a hybrid work model (three days in office, two remote). Responsibilities include scoping, estimating, planning, prioritizing, scheduling, resourcing, risk assessment, cost-benefit analyses, establishing milestones, and managing budgets. Acts as liaison with business leadership, hospital resources, third-party providers, and contractors; monitors invoices; tracks progress with project plans and standard processes; enforces policies and standards for delivery; ensures QA of documentation, testing, and development by third parties; maintains knowledge repositories. Requires PMP, 6-8 years PM experience in relevant industries, experience delivering $1M+ projects, and strong communication and analytical skills. Education: University degree in IT/Business or related field; Travel ability; Vaccination proof required. Hybrid role with offices in Toronto and Burlington, Ontario. Salary range $95,000-$115,000 annually. Benefits include HOOPP and flexible remote work options.
Required Qualifications
- University Degree in IT, Business/Commerce or related field
- PMP designation
- 6-8 years PM experience in relevant sectors
- Experience with agile and waterfall methodologies
- Experience with Planview and MS Project
- 10+ years in ERP project management environments (SAP, Microsoft Dynamics)
Desired Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) designation
- 6-8 years of PM experience in Supply Chain, shared Financial Transaction Processing or Healthcare industries
- Experience with agile and waterfall project management methodologies
- Experience implementing processes for estimating, scoping, requirements gathering, and lifecycle
- Proven experience managing planning and delivery of $1M+ projects
- Experience with project management tools (Planview, MS Project)
- 10+ years of system-related project management in an ERP environment (SAP, Microsoft Dynamics) leveraging Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay and/or Finance
- High-quality written and verbal communication skills
- Strong financial, contract management, analytical skills
- Experience in hospital and/or public sector environment is an asset
- Willingness to travel to Mohawk Medbuy offices if required
