IT Intern

The IT intern will assist the network security and infrastructure team in maintaining and securing the company’s network and IT infrastructure. The intern will gain hands-on experience in network security practices, infrastructure management, and support. Key responsibilities include monitoring network traffic and analyzing security alerts; participating in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing; assisting in implementing and managing security tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus); supporting incident response activities and documentation; helping maintain security policies and procedures; assisting in setup, configuration, and maintenance of network devices; supporting server environment management including installation and troubleshooting; participating in regular backup and recovery processes; providing end-user support for network and security-related issues; maintaining detailed documentation of network configurations, security policies, and incident reports. Location: Penang, Malaysia. This internship is open to Malaysian applicants with a monthly stipend; duration up to 5.5 months.
