Job Summary

IT Intern will assist with day-to-day IT functions across networked offices, including configuring office equipment, helping employees troubleshoot computer network and communication issues, handling IT onboarding for new hires, responding to IT support tickets, and coordinating IT between offices. Reports to the IT Manager and collaborates across business functions to support Windows/Office environments, VMware, and server-related tasks; requires current enrollment in an accredited computer science/IT program and strong communication and organizational skills.

Required Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in accredited program in Computer Science, Computer & IS Security, Information Technology, Computer Systems Engineering, or related field
  • A+ certification is a plus
  • Strong computer skills, proficiency with Excel and Word
  • Self-starter, able to work well with others under deadlines and adapt to priorities
  • Good written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently but seek help when needed and drive projects to completion
  • Prior experience with Windows 10-11, Office 365, VMware, Windows Server a plus
  • IT onboarding for new hires
  • Assisting with configuration of office equipment
  • Responding to IT support tickets
  • Assisting with IT coordination between offices
  • Assist new employees with computer setup
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by IT manager
