Job Summary
IT Intern will work within Leader Bank's information technology department and gain experience related to Desktop Support Analyst / Technician roles, assisting with Windows 11 projects, basic system integration, and hands-on IT desktop support. Responsibilities include coordinating upgrades, providing end-user support, maintaining hardware/software inventory, and assisting with office moves; candidates should be enrolled in a bachelor's or master’s degree program in information technology or a related field, possess strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills, and have a valid driver license for potential local travel.
Required Qualifications
- Must be currently enrolled in either a bachelor's or master's degree program in information technology or a related field.
- The ability to work as part of a team.
- Must have a valid driver license as local travel might be required.
- High degree of end user customer service ability, professionalism, and interpersonal skills.
- Prior working experience in the financial service sector is a plus.
- Capable of asking questions.
- Great communication skills are essential.
- Detail-oriented; capable of following instructions set forth by the bank’s procedure and process.
- Working towards an associate or bachelor’s degree in information technology.
- Certification in Windows Operating Systems a plus.
