Job Summary
IT Service Desk Intern to support and enhance internal IT support services in a professional IT environment. Responsibilities include providing technical support for hardware and software in a Microsoft 365 environment, assisting with setting up and deploying desktops (Windows and Mac), managing user accounts in Active Directory, procurement and distribution of IT equipment, assisting with Office 365, SharePoint, and ServiceNow tasks, contributing to knowledge base documentation in ServiceNow, managing hardware and software inventory, troubleshooting AV and conferencing systems, administering core hosted applications, and collaborating with local IT vendors and internal teams. Requires currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in IT or CS, basic understanding of Windows and/or Mac OS, familiarity with Microsoft 365, interest in IT support and end-user services, basic networking/device/identity management knowledge is a plus, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to work on-site in the Erlangen office. Location is Amsterdam, Netherlands; role is part-time internship with on-site work at Fluence facilities.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Windows and/or Mac OS
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 (Office applications, Teams, Outlook)
- Interest in IT support, troubleshooting, and end-user services
- Basic understanding of networking, device management, or identity management is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work on-site in the Erlangen office
