Job Summary
Assess and lead enterprise-wide training and education programs for Loma Linda University Health Systems entities and LLEAP (Epic) EHR users. Plan and develop curricula based on needs assessments, managing technical processes including environment synchronization and workflow design. Build, test, and maintain the training environment while overseeing project credentialed trainer programs and providing mentorship to other Instructional Designers. Analyze participant evaluation data for quality improvement and implement new education methodologies. Requires Epic core application certification, a Bachelor's degree in a related field, and four years of experience in curriculum development or healthcare IT. Full-time, day shift.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Education, Business, Communications, Information Systems, Healthcare or related field
- Minimum of four years of experience in curriculum development, training, healthcare, information systems, or a related field
- Broad knowledge and understanding of computer hardware, applications, network, and operating systems
- Knowledge and understanding of related Information Technology trends
- Ability to read; write legibly; speak in English with professional quality
- Use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Strong knowledge of project management software such as MS Project, Access, and other project management tools for task tracking and team collaboration efforts
- Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others
- Work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure
