IT Infrastructure Specialist, Cloud Platform

Job Summary
Operate the operational health, availability, and performance of Microsoft Azure environments across multiple subscriptions, managing services for compute, networking, storage, identity, and platform. Monitor workloads using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights to ensure actionable alerting and timely response, while participating in incident response, root cause analysis, and post-incident remediation. Implement and maintain Azure infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with a preference for Bicep, automate operational tasks using PowerShell and Azure CLI, and support governance capabilities including management groups and role-based access control. Partner with security, compliance, and DevOps teams to ensure secure, scalable solutions and standardized configurations aligned with the Azure Well-Architected Framework. Create technical documentation, operational runbooks, and platform standards while reporting on monthly performance metrics to ensure SLOs are met.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure, cloud, or systems engineering roles
- 3+ years of hands-on Microsoft Azure experience in production environments
- Demonstrated experience supporting and operating cloud platforms in an enterprise environment
- Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered
- Microsoft Azure certifications (Administrator, Solutions Architect, or similar) preferred
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure IaaS and PaaS services
- Experience implementing or maintaining Infrastructure as Code (Bicep, ARM, or Terraform)
- Scripting and automation using PowerShell and/or Azure CLI
- Solid understanding of Azure identity, networking, and security fundamentals
- Familiarity with Azure Policy, RBAC, and governance models
- Fluency with the Azure Well-Architected Framework
- Mature orthodox Christian faith as defined by the Apostles' Creed
