Job Summary
IT Infrastructure Project Leader responsible for delivering direct IT infrastructure customer support and assisting project execution under a Project Manager, with on-site work at data centers or client sites. Collaborates with Project Managers and external vendors, troubleshoots infrastructure issues with distributors and manufacturers, analyzes incident trends and proposes preventive solutions, and coordinates with PSOC and CSIRT teams on suspected security events and vulnerabilities. Requires hands-on design/implementation in cloud and on-premises infrastructure (AWS, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, UNIX), virtualization, virtual desktops, authentication infrastructure, monitoring tools, and security tooling. Must have strong communication in English and basic Japanese, and be able to travel for on-site work in NYC/data centers.
Required Qualifications
- Design and implementation experience in Cloud Solutions (AWS, Microsoft 365)
- Virtualization (vSphere, Hyper-V)
- Virtual Desktop
- Windows Server (Active Directory, Entra ID, Intune, Exchange)
- Unix Server (Redhat, SMTP server)
- Authentication Infrastructure (SSO, Entra ID, Okta)
- Strong operation and troubleshooting skills in Monitoring tools (AWS CloudWatch, SolarWinds)
- Active Directory, GPO
- Authentication and Access Privilege
- Security tools (SES, Defender, Cybereason, Deep Security)
- Experience working with stakeholders on support-related issues
- Basic Japanese language skills (required for communication with Tokyo HQ)
- Certifications (Preferred): AWS, Microsoft 365, Security certifications, ITIL, PMP
