Job Summary
Scan, discover, and inventory network infrastructure including servers, workstations, and Active Directory using DocuSnap. Create and maintain structured documentation of network topology, IT assets, and system configurations while designing updated network diagrams for LAN/WAN and VLANs. Support audits to identify gaps, generate reports for technical and management review, and collaborate with IT staff to validate documentation accuracy. Flag potential security, compliance, or configuration issues and assist with basic troubleshooting tasks. This internship requires a Bachelor's or Diploma in Computer Science or IT with basic networking knowledge, strong written communication skills, and familiarity with diagramming tools. Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, IT, Network Engineering, or related field
- Basic to intermediate understanding of networking concepts (TCP/ IP, subnetting, routing/ switching, DNS, DHCP)
- Familiarity with network topologies and ability to interpret network diagrams
- Basic knowledge of Windows Server/ Active Directory environments
- Strong written communication skills for creating technical documentation
- Familiarity with diagramming tools (Visio, Draw.io, Lucidchart) or willingness to learn
- Ability to clearly explain technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
- High attention to detail and accuracy
Desired Qualifications
- Exposure to network discovery/ documentation tools is a plus (training on DocuSnap will be provided)
