Job Summary
Monitor and coordinate the Service Desk queue, prioritizing and assigning incidents to support timely resolution. Serve as the senior escalation point for complex endpoint, software, access, and connectivity issues. Install, configure, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, mobile devices, printers, and audiovisual equipment. Provision user accounts, Active Directory access, permissions, and multifactor authentication for employees and contractors. Provide hands-on technical support for kiosks and specialized devices, including setup, testing, and coordination with vendors. Coordinate support for elections, public-service events, office moves, and equipment deployments. Document incidents, resolutions, and knowledge articles in accordance with established procedures. Identify recurring incidents and recommend corrective actions to improve service delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Four (4) years of related experience
- At least two (2) years of experience as a supervisor/lead
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field
- Must successfully complete the next scheduled Secretary of State Election Officer Certification
- Must be eligible to vote in Arizona
- Must pass applicable background screening
- Eight years (8) managing an enterprise networks
- Experience with: Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
- Experience with: Windows Server administration and Active Directory
- Experience with: Ubuntu Linux administration
- Experience with: VMware ESXi and vCenter administration
- Experience with: Container platforms, including Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with: Hybrid Cloud Microsoft Azure administration
- Experience with: Computer hardware, peripherals, and endpoint devices
- Experience with: Enterprise networking, including switching, routing, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and network troubleshooting
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
