Job Summary
The IT Infrastructure Lead is responsible for managing and maintaining the bank’s IT infrastructure, providing technical leadership within the IT department, supervising Help Desk and Desktop Administrator staff, and ensuring outstanding customer service. Responsibilities include administering Windows servers, leveraging VMware virtualization, maintaining security and disaster recovery capabilities, developing backup/recovery plans, overseeing user profile security, managing IT projects, delivering desktop and Help Desk support (on-site and remote), maintaining thorough technical documentation, providing on-call support, interfacing with software vendors, solving problems independently, and upholding the bank’s quality customer service and mission. Requires strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills in a banking IT environment.
Required Qualifications
- Five years of technical experience
- Three years of virtualization experience including VMWare
- Experience with security applications (antivirus, intrusion prevention, firewalls, vulnerability tools, event monitoring)
- Two years of administering/troubleshooting Microsoft Active Directory
- Ability to provide on-call support
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- IT certifications preferred (e.g., CISSP, MCP)
