Job Summary
Lead and manage the Mainframe Systems team within the Shared Systems Division to ensure operational efficiency, reliability, and disaster recovery for enterprise IBM mainframe environments. Oversee z/OS administration, hardware configuration, performance tuning, capacity planning, and modernization initiatives; monitor day-to-day operations, escalate and resolve incidents, and participate in after-hours support in a 24/7 enterprise setting. Drive project planning and execution for hardware/software upgrades, mentor staff to deliver successful deliveries, manage vendor relationships, maintain technical documentation and standards, and contribute to strategic budgeting and roadmap efforts for enterprise infrastructure in a large-scale environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with four years of full-time experience in data center operations, cloud engineering, or complex IT infrastructure engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college and eight years of full-time experience in data center operations, cloud engineering, or complex IT infrastructure engineering.
- An equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
