Job Summary

Provide IT infrastructure support and delivery services to users across Ireland and the United Kingdom as part of a centrally managed IT Infrastructure team. Deliver desk-side and remote IT support to users across supported sites, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software and connectivity issues. Support end user compute services lifecycle, including device provisioning, replacement, fault resolution and secure decommissioning, and manage end user device assets. Maintain knowledge of adjacent infrastructure domains to collaborate with specialist teams, and provide deeper technical support for specialized environments. Log and progress Incidents and Service Requests in line with KPIs and SLAs, raise Change Requests, and create/update SOPs and site documentation to support consistent service delivery. Travel across Ireland may be required; hold or obtain the appropriate right to work and travel permissions for the UK and Ireland. Participate in on-site and off-site support coverage, including shift rotation and on-call arrangements. Maintain strong troubleshooting skills for Windows-based environments, AD concepts, and networking/storage concepts, and demonstrate professional, empathetic customer service. Required Qualifications

  • Full driving licence
  • Willing to undertake regular travel across Ireland
  • Strong working knowledge of end user computer environments (Windows and common enterprise apps)
  • Proven ability to diagnose and resolve end user hardware and software issues
  • Experience with Active Directory concepts (user/computer objects, basic Group Policy, authentication)
  • Awareness of networking, storage and backup concepts
  • Experience using ticketing systems to manage incidents/requests/changes
  • Ability to follow and contribute to technical documentation and SOPs
  • Strong communication skills and customer-focused approach
  • Ability to provide desk-side and remote IT support
  • Experience with end user devices provisioning, replacement, and secure decommissioning
  • Experience supporting IT infrastructure equipment and services (servers, VoIP, network)
  • Log, manage and progress incidents/requests per KPIs/SLAs
  • Raise and implement Change Requests
  • Create/update technical/operational documentation
  • Willingness to work on-site and remote in Ireland/UK as required
  • Commitment to service standards and risk controls
