Job Summary
Design and review IT infrastructure architecture for cost-efficiency, scalability, and compliance while adapting global headquarters standards into region-specific guidelines. Assess regional IT maturity to implement continuous improvement plans and manage operational KPIs based on global metrics. Conduct root cause analysis of major incidents, oversee system escalations, and coordinate infrastructure projects to ensure on-time delivery. Optimize service delivery and collaborate with key IT partners to maintain a resilient, cost-effective technology environment across the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil. This role supports Hyundai MOBIS Corporate Center America operations, requiring hands-on expertise with virtualization platforms, Windows Server, and Linux distributions.
Required Qualifications
- 2~7 years of experience as an IT Infrastructure Engineer or similar role in a corporate environment, preferably in the automotive industry
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Hands-on expertise with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware vSphere), Windows Server and major Linux distributions (Red Hat, Rocky, Ubuntu)
- Practical experience with SAN, NAC storage solutions and Veritas NetBackup solutions
- Common knowledge of network design and protocols, including Cisco routing, switching, and firewall technologies
- System failure Recovery and Root Cause Analysis expertise
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skill in English
- Working Conditions: This position is primarily office-based and may require occasional travel or extended hours based on business needs
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in relevant technical or business discipline
- Multiregional project leadership and cross-cultural stakeholder engagement experience
- Bilingual speaker (English and Korean) is a plus
- Advanced IT Infrastructure certifications such as VMware VCAP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Cisco certifications (CCNP Enterprise or higher) or equivalent networking credentials
