Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day security operations including monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, and security assessments for a leading international banking institute. Manage and optimize security tools such as firewalls, SIEM systems, and encryption protocols while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations like FFIEC, GLBA, and PCI-DSS. Design network and cloud security strategies, conduct penetration testing, and oversee backup and patch management to mitigate risks. Collaborate with internal IT teams and external partners to implement policies and communicate security risks to diverse audiences. Fluency in English and Mandarin is highly desired. This role requires 5-10 years of banking industry experience and a Bachelor's degree in Information Security or Computer Science.
Required Qualifications
- 5-10 years of IT security experience within the banking industry
- Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field
- Strong understanding of federal and state regulatory requirements affecting the banking sector
- Proven experience in network security, backup solutions, patch management, and IT risk assessments
- Hands-on experience with security tools like firewalls, SIEM, IDS/IPS, DLP, and antivirus systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse teams globally
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively

- Advanced certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA
