Job Summary
Mid-level IT Helpdesk & Support Specialist based in Downtown Boston (on-site) responsible for end-user and application support, including Windows devices, Office 365, Zoom, DocuSign, Verkada, and Teams. Responsibilities include account provisioning in Active Directory/Microsoft 365, device imaging, software installation and license management, MDM assistance, network troubleshooting, AV support for events, and maintaining IT documentation. Requires 2+ years of helpdesk/IT support, proficiency with Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365, experience with Zoom/DocuSign/Verkada, and strong communication skills. On-site role with occasional local travel between JVS-Boston locations.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of experience in helpdesk, desktop, or IT support
- Proficiency with Windows 10/11 and the Microsoft 365 suite
- Experience with Zoom, DocuSign, and/or Verkada
- Familiarity with Active Directory account management
- Excellent communication and customer service skills; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Physical ability to lift/move up to 40–50 lbs. and support AV setup as needed
- Reliable transportation or valid driver’s license for occasional local travel
