Job Summary
Serve as the first point of contact for customers requiring assistance with computers, phones, and peripherals. Support Microsoft Windows desktops, the Office suite, Active Directory, and M365 environments while managing telephones, printers, cameras, and mobile devices. Maintain strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks under minimal supervision and work independently with access to confidential information. Remain available for on-call rotation to address emergencies and unusual events. Requires a valid Colorado driver's license and completion of specific security training certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Colorado driver's license
- Associate Degree from an accredited school in Computer Science (or related field), or a combination of education, certifications, and experience that County Management deems appropriate
- Experience supporting Microsoft Windows desktops, Microsoft Office suite, Microsoft Active Directory, and M365
- Experience supporting telephones, printers, cameras, microphones, cell phones, and tablets
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate in English, orally and in writing
- Customer service oriented, patient, and friendly
- Able to work under deadlines with interruptions, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and work productively under minimal supervision
- Able to be on-call (in coordination with other IT staff) for emergencies and unusual events
- Able to work independently with access to confidential information used to develop and support managerial positions
