Job Summary
Conduct discovery meetings, site visits, and technical assessments to support sales pre- and post-sales activities. Deploy and manage Windows Servers, Active Directory, and Local Area Networks while implementing security measures and optimizing network software and hardware. Build file servers, configure VOIP solutions, and monitor alert systems to execute repairs based on event logs. Manage Microsoft Exchange Server, handle escalated service requests, and perform new user on-boarding. Requires five years of hands-on experience in an MSP environment with three years in client-facing sales engineering. Located in Plainsboro, NJ, this Level III role offers ongoing training and a pleasant work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience configuring, troubleshooting and repairing networking equipment, Windows servers and workstations, Exchange server and Active Directory
- Having worked in an MSP environment
- Three years of experience in a client-facing environment such as sales engineering
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable working with clients at a business level to understand their current and historic issues regarding their business and technology
- Possesses strong organizational and time-management skills
- Experience writing proposals for and implementation of technical solutions to fulfill business needs
- Results-oriented, self-motivated, energetic, professional, reliable, and a team player
- Strong understanding of technology and business productivity systems

Desired Qualifications
- Experience with RMM (remote monitoring and management) tool such as Kaseya or Connectwise
- Experience with a PSA (ticketing system) tool such as Autotask or Connectwise
- Sales training experience
- CompTIA Net+ and/or CompTIA Security+
- MCSA (Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator/Solutions Associate) or MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) MCITP Microsoft Certified IT Professional, MCSE (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert)
- CCNA or CCIE-Cisco certifications
