Job Summary
Design, deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise IT hardware systems while conducting testing, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure operational performance. Provide Tier 3 support for complex hardware failures, performing root cause analysis and repair coordination across DIA facilities. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for hardware life cycle management, including installation, upgrades, and decommissioning. Collaborate with engineering, operations, and cybersecurity teams to support mission requirements and ensure compliance with information assurance and security standards in classified environments. Maintain accurate documentation for configurations, installations, and repairs. Requires Top Secret/SCI clearance, 5+ years of experience in DoD/IC environments, and proficiency with IT asset management and ITSM frameworks.
Required Qualifications
- Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance
- 5+ years of experience designing, deploying, and maintaining enterprise IT hardware systems, preferably within Department of Defense (DoD) or Intelligence Community (IC) environments
- Willingness to support after-hours, on-call, or emergency operations as required
- Proven hands-on experience with hardware installations, upgrades, system testing, troubleshooting, and enterprise IT service and support environments
- Experience providing Tier 3 technical support and resolving complex hardware-related issues
- Knowledge of IT asset management, configuration management, and equipment lifecycle processes
- Experience with customer relationship management, stakeholder support, change management, risk management, and Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) frameworks
- Familiarity with cybersecurity and accreditation standards, including ICD 503, DCID 6/3, DIA-CAP, and applicable NIST guidance
- Proficiency working in classified IT environments, including security procedures, operational processes, and classified systems terminology
- Experience supporting Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) or Intelligence Community (IC) missions
- Familiarity with enterprise hardware infrastructure and facility-based IT systems
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline
- Relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree
- CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent IAT II certification
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must be compliant with DoD 8140 certification and training requirements
- Must have enough mobility, including bending, reaching, and kneeling, to complete daily duties in a prompt and efficient manner
- Must be able to lift up to thirty pounds, as necessary
