Job Summary
IT Governance Analyst responsible for evaluating IT governance, IT audits, security risks, and vendor management; leads vendor-management discussions with stakeholders, coordinates risk assessments and risk-profile reporting, supports IT audits, and develops/remedies risk-management frameworks. Requires understanding of IT risk across security, infrastructure, and application development; strong analytical, communications, and cross-functional collaboration skills to drive risk remediation and stakeholder reporting in a mid-town Manhattan financial-institution environment.
Required Qualifications
- 2-5 years of relevant IT experience
- Understanding of IT and security risks, processes, and controls; ability to converse at a technical level
- Proven ability to work independently and cross-functionally
- Ability to prepare presentations, status reports, process narratives, and workflow diagrams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Interacts well with all levels in a team environment
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Foundational knowledge and experience with information security, governance, data privacy, regulatory compliance, and related risk disciplines
- Ability to adapt to change quickly, work with ambiguity, and manage multiple tasks
