Job Summary
Provide field IT support across Waste Connections' Southern Region from an Austin base; install, configure, and maintain core software/hardware; manage Active Directory; deploy software releases and patches; configure PCs, network equipment (including Cisco/Meraki SD-WAN), VOIP and mobile devices; install/maintain security cameras; coordinate on facilities projects and acquisitions; respond to incidents using incident-management software to enhance end-user productivity; travel to remote sites up to 50% and support district sites and field locations. Essential duties include Windows end-user support, networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, switches/routers), Office 365, Citrix basics, VOIP systems, and hardware provisioning for PCs, phones, and networking gear; candidate should be self-motivated with a willingness to learn a broad range of IT principles and disciplines.
