Job Summary
On-Call IT Field Technician for multiple U.S. cities. Independent contractor role with flexible scheduling; focus on on-site IT support for residential and small business clients, including troubleshooting Windows/macOS, networking (WiFi, routers, wired networks), printer/scanner setup, hardware upgrades, OS reinstallation, POS configuration, Cat5e/Cat6 cabling, and basic AV Tasks such as outdoor TV mounting. Requires 2+ years of IT support or field service, reliable transportation, driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and ownership of necessary tools. Dispatch is proximity-based with remote support available from dispatch team.
Required Qualifications
- Two or more years of IT support or field service
- Strong networking and diagnostic skills
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Ability to work independently and provide professional customer service
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Own required tools including a laptop, drill, screwdrivers, cable tester, and RJ45 tools
