Job Summary
Troubleshoot and repair Windows and macOS issues, resolve WiFi and network problems, and install printers or scanners on residential and small business sites. Replace hardware components, reinstall operating systems, and configure POS systems while running Cat5e or Cat6 cabling. Perform outdoor TV mounting and basic AV setup, documenting all work and communicating clearly with customers. This independent contractor role offers $35 per hour for on-site time plus $100+ per mounted TV, with flexible scheduling based on your availability and driving radius. You must have two years of IT experience, strong networking skills, and a valid driver's license. Geeks On Site provides nationwide support services, and a dispatch team is available to assist remotely.
Required Qualifications
- Two or more years of experience in IT support or field service
- Strong networking and diagnostic skills
