Job Summary
On-Call IT Field Technician – PC, Mac, POS and TV mounting. Independent Contractor (1099) role with flexible scheduling; you set availability and we dispatch nearby on-site opportunities. Responsibilities include troubleshooting Windows and macOS, resolving WiFi/router issues, printers/scanners configuration, hardware upgrades, reinstalling operating systems, documenting work, and supporting POS systems and cabling. Services span residential and small business IT needs with potential outdoor TV mounting and basic AV setup. Must have 2+ years IT support/field service experience, strong networking/diagnostic skills, reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, ability to work independently, lift up to 50 lbs, and possess essential tools (laptop, drill, screwdrivers, cable tester, RJ45 tools). Compensation is $35/hour on-site, with additional outdoor TV mounting pay per device; schedule is flexible and driven by proximity and skills.
Required Qualifications
- Two or more years of experience in IT support or field service
- Strong networking and diagnostic skills
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Ability to work independently and provide professional customer service
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Own required tools including a laptop, drill, screwdrivers, cable tester, and RJ45 tools
