Job Summary
Troubleshoot and repair Windows and macOS issues, resolve WiFi and network problems, and install printers, scanners, and POS systems. Replace or upgrade hardware components, reinstall operating systems, and perform outdoor TV mounting and basic AV setup. Document all work and communicate clearly with customers while running Cat5e or Cat6 cabling. This independent contractor role requires two years of IT support experience, strong networking skills, and valid driver's license. Compensation includes $35 per hour for on-site work plus per-unit rates for TV mounting.
Required Qualifications
- Two or more years of experience in IT support or field service
- Strong networking and diagnostic skills
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Own required tools including a laptop, drill, screwdrivers, cable tester, and RJ45 tools
- Background Check
