Job Summary
Provide onsite technical support and maintenance for 12 dental office locations, requiring frequent travel to design, install, and maintain on-premise networks, workstations, and server hardware. Diagnose and resolve tier 1 & 2 technical issues within established SLA windows, escalating complex problems as needed while documenting all activities in the IT knowledgebase. Monitor network connectivity to limit downtime and coordinate with remote teams and vendors to implement solutions. Participate in a rotating on-call schedule every 6-7 weeks for urgent after-hours support. Maintain strong relationships with office staff, dentists, and regional directors while prioritizing customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years professional experience as an IT Field Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking systems
- Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and resolving tier 1 & 2 technical issues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Willingness to travel to multiple locations as required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 40 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with Active Directory, Azure and Office 365 preferred
- Experience troubleshooting layer 1-3 issues preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent experience preferred
