Job Summary
Partner with IT teams, senior leadership, and hospital leaders to resolve escalations, keep operations running smoothly, and support departmental initiatives by aligning stakeholders and prioritizing work. Represent IT with a service-first mindset while protecting systems through coordinating operational measures for secure, reliable data, software, hardware, and infrastructure. Work with local teams to review project plans, finalize technology specifications, and support infrastructure projects, hospital upgrades, and new hospital openings. Recommend and implement streamlined hospital technology, best practices, and continuous IT improvements while helping hire Field Service resources. This field-based role supports VEG hospitals across the Bay Area, requiring travel including frequent flights and driving, with schedules that may involve being on the road 3–5 days a week, including occasional weekends or holidays.
Required Qualifications
- 1–2 years of technical help desk or IT support experience
- ability to apply general technology processes, tools, and best practices in a hospital environment
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- ability to partner confidently with VEGgies, IT teams, hospital leaders, vendors, and other partners inside and outside the organization
