Job Summary

Onsite IT Support Engineer responsible for managing IT equipment and delivering proactive, high-quality service for managed services clients. Primary duties include monitoring server/network health, performing backups and restoration tests, maintaining detailed IT documentation, conducting end-of-day status meetings with client contacts, and addressing tickets to minimize incidents and resolve issues quickly. Role requires deep knowledge of client IT environments, relationships with clients and Parachute’s Technical Account Managers, and the ability to perform project work, implement best practices, and support remote monitoring/management tools. Qualifications emphasize strong communication, problem-solving, and extensive experience with Windows Server, Exchange/Office 365, networking (firewalls, VPN, VLAN, DNS/DHCP), virtualization (VMware, Citrix, HyperV), and IT certifications.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in IT or related technical field is required
  • Bachelor's Degree in IT or related field is preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in network/IT systems and troubleshooting
  • IT industry certifications are preferred: MCP, MCSA, MCSE, CCNA, VMware VCP, Citrix CCEA/CCIA, SonicWall CSSA
