IT Field Engineer I - Northern Ohio

Job Summary
Drive to client sites as scheduled to resolve technical issues across hardware, software, and networks, ensuring timely resolution and consistent communication. Install and set up new computer hardware, software, and peripherals while troubleshooting onsite workstation and printer problems. Collaborate with technical staff on connectivity issues involving ISPs, wireless networks, DHCP, DNS, and remote access technologies including VPN, RDS, and Citrix. Educate clients on technical standards, identify recurring issues, and initiate problem tickets. Maintain accurate timesheets and troubleshooting notes. Participate in the on-call rotation (1 week every 3-4 months). Requires full-time vehicle access, valid driver's license, and 2 years of relevant technical experience. Full-time access to a vehicle, a valid driver's license, and no driving restrictions.

- Business class insurance for the vehicle if residing in Canada
- 2 years of relevant technical experience OR 1 year experience in Service Technician I or II roles at VC3
- 2 years experience managing Windows Client Operating Systems (10,11)
- 2 years experience managing Microsoft/Office 365
- 2 years experience managing Virus and Security
- 2 years experience managing TCP/IP
- 2 years experience managing DHCP
- 2 years experience managing DNS
- Must meet Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) requirements post-employment
