Job Summary
Oversees large, complex enterprise IT projects in healthcare (EHR PMO), ensuring projects meet budget, schedule, and scope while aligning with business goals. Develops strategic project plans, captures requirements and risks, maintains comprehensive documentation, tracks deliverables, and coordinates stakeholders and resources across the project lifecycle. Drives risk identification and mitigation, manages changes, and ensures quality outcomes. Requires PMP certification and a Bachelor's Degree or 6+ years of relevant experience; 10% travel to go-live sites and remote work in Charlotte. Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring capabilities with proficiency in Microsoft O365, Project, and ServiceNow.
Required Qualifications
- PMP certified
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field OR 6+ years of IT project management experience
- Typically requires 6+ years of advanced project management experience in IT with a proven record of successful project delivery
- Willingness to travel (10% for go lives)
- Ability to develop and maintain project documentation including status reports and project plans
- Experience establishing RACI matrices, change management plans, and stakeholder communication plans
- Proficiency with Microsoft O365, Microsoft Project, and ServiceNow or similar portfolio management tools
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and team facilitation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication and ability to interact with C-Suite and cross-functional teams
- Experience managing large, complex, enterprise-wide healthcare IT projects in an EHR PMO environment
