Job Summary
Develop and maintain comprehensive application architecture roadmaps that align with business strategies and organizational priorities. Define standards, design principles, and best practices for application design, development, and integration. Evaluate emerging technologies, vendor platforms, and software solutions for enterprise adoption. Lead the integration of complex systems, ensuring applications are scalable, secure, performant and interoperable. Identify overlapping or redundant applications and create rationalization recommendations and roadmaps. Provide architectural guidance on modernization initiatives and future-state application capabilities. Support leadership with Build vs Buy analysis and application lifecycle decisions. Review application designs for adherence to enterprise standards and security protocols. Work with business leaders, Infrastructure architects, Security architects and IT teams to ensure alignment of technology with business initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited 4-year college or university
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Extensive experience in application development, integration, and architectural design
- Deep understanding of cloud technologies
- Deep understanding of data architecture
- Deep understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC)
- Expertise in Application Portfolio Optimization
- Knowledge of orchestration tools to automate processes and services
- Ability to analyze, translate, and define business requirements into technical solutions
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with little supervision
Desired Qualifications
- TOGAF certification
- Knowledge of SAP or JD Edwards ERP
