Job Summary
Resolve escalated technical IT matters and manage IT tickets for Spanish and EU employees by diagnosing and repairing end-user devices. Evaluate and test new hardware and software, build vendor relationships, and manage the purchase and maintenance of company assets. Deploy corporate PCs and Macs, coordinate warranty repairs, and maintain inventory and IT asset data including serial numbers and software keys. Manage hosted IT applications such as Okta, Google GSuite, and MS O365, while handling on- and off-boarding account management. Assist in shipping, recycling, and disposal of computers and peripherals. This role offers a total compensation range of 30,000 - 60,000 EUR for an eligible candidate based in Barcelona with 4+ years of experience, requiring minimal cross-region travel.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of professional experience in desktop support, IT infrastructure engineering, or similar IT roles
- Eligible to live and work in Spain
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills in English
- Able to travel cross-region (<10% travel time expected)
Desired Qualifications
- Spanish language skills
- Certificate(s) of CCNA / CCNP / CMNO /MCSE
- Professional experience in supporting MS Windows and/or Mac OS
- Knowledge of general IT security controls and best practices
- Experience documenting IT applications and training users
- Previous experience managing/mentoring colleagues
- Previous working experience in a global organization across multiple regions & time zones
- Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related discipline
