Job Summary
Provide day-to-day technical support to colleagues for PCs, Macs, phones, printers, and audiovisual equipment using Microsoft Intune. Administer the mobile phone fleet, manage device deployments, and assist in tracking inventory while working directly with contracted engineers to identify process improvements. Support the technical production of live-streamed auctions and sales, including telephony and networked printer administration via the 8x8 platform. Travel regionally for hardware upgrades and urgent requests, maintaining high ethical standards and compliance with information security requirements. Work onsite four days a week with flexibility to adjust schedules for night and weekend sales.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years experience of end user support in a global IT environment
- At least 2 years managing technical projects
- Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Experience working in a startup or other quickly-evolving environment
- Proven ability to work alongside contractors and consultants
- Experience in IT project planning and oversight including allocation of resources and budget
- Basic understanding of network protocols and architectures
- Working knowledge of Active Directory administration
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously
- Personal responsibility to make decisions
- Bias for action within established corporate and global IT guidelines
- Experience with the technical production of live-streamed events using a networked audiovisual technologies
- Flexibility to adjust schedule to accommodate night and weekend sales
- Onsite 4 days a week
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in creating simple internal process documentation and training materials
