IT Engineer, Privileged Access Management (PAM)

Job Summary
Design, implement, and operate enterprise PAM capabilities across cloud and hybrid environments using Microsoft Entra ID, PIM, and related security tooling. Onboard and manage privileged accounts, configure Just-In-Time access, enforce least-privilege and Zero Trust, and support audits and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with IAM, Security Operations, Infrastructure, and Application teams; monitor PAM alerts with Microsoft Sentinel/Defender XDR; assist in incident response involving privileged access; develop automation for PAM account management and runbooks; contribute to policy and standards and provide guidance to stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365 environments with direct responsibility for identity or security controls
- 2+ years hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Entra ID, Defender, and Purview portals
- Experience supporting hybrid (cloud and on-premises) environments
- Experience with IdP and IdM concepts
- Experience across multiple concurrent projects in a dynamic environment
- Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate (preferred)
- Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate (preferred)
- CISSP or equivalent security certification (preferred)
- Experience with IAM, Active Directory, Windows Server, SQL Server, or networking fundamentals
