Job Summary
Assist in maintenance and deployment of desktop, laptop, and mobile hardware and operating systems, including patch management and configuration management activities. Perform top-level endpoint support for hardware, OS, and applications, while testing new hardware for compatibility and security. Analyze and remediate issues with OS update deployments, troubleshoot common application interactions, and implement solutions for desktop and mobile platforms. Continually seek automation opportunities and create documentation for procedures to support cross-training. Occasional night, weekend, and overnight travel required.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 5 years IT experience
- 5+ years' PC/Mac or Mobile support/maintenance experience
- Ability and means to travel
- Occasional night and weekend work
- overnight travel (up to 10%)
Desired Qualifications
- Understanding of compliance functions within a financial organization
- Knowledge of industry standard IT best practices, including disaster recovery and high availability concepts
