IT Director - Workday ERP

Job Summary
Lead, define, and execute the strategy, delivery, and ongoing operations of the Workday ERP platform for a large multi-location health system. Provide governance, standards, and service-management practices across the Workday ecosystem, ensuring stability, security, compliance, and continuous improvement to support Finance, HR, Supply Chain, and other enabled functions. Oversee long-term roadmap for staffing/time & attendance and EDI/e-invoicing applications; drive end-user adoption and optimization so teams maximize system capabilities to solve business problems and deliver measurable operational value.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- 7+ years of IT experience leading, supporting/managing Workday ERP applications
- 3+ years in a leadership/people management capacity for a large multi-location healthcare system (25,000+ employees)
- Demonstrated experience leading large scale Workday ERP platform delivery and operations
- Hands-on understanding of Workday concepts (business processes, security roles, reporting, data conversions, integrations)
- Experience with IT service management practices (incident/problem/change) and ticketing/change control frameworks
- Strong vendor management skills (SOWs, SLAs, performance outcomes)
- Excellent communication skills for translating technical concepts to executives
