Job Summary
Lead the development and execution of the SAP portion of the IT Strategic Plan, driving the transition from transactional ERP to a strategic business enablement platform using SAP BTP, Fiori, Joule, and AI capabilities. Own the SAP application strategy, roadmap, architecture, and governance while managing the relationship with SAP, systems integrators, and supporting partners to maximize return on investment. Direct functional and technical SAP IT managers to deliver solutions for day-to-day business execution, reduce technical debt, and create reusable integration services that align with revenue growth and operational excellence goals. Manage the SAP AMS capability and ensure solution delivery complies with ITGC guidelines while identifying internal talent for emerging innovations. Travel up to 25% to global locations; this U.S.-only role requires citizenship or permanent resident status and does not offer sponsorship.
Required Qualifications
- Ten years of relevant, hands-on experience with SAP S/4 finance, supply chain, quote to cash, and manufacturing modules
- Experience leading the deployment and utilization of SAP BTP, Fiori, Joule, Build and other recent SAP innovations
- Experience managing a team of SAP functional leaders and working with Global Process Owners and other business leaders
- Experiencing leading technology innovation and deployment as a part of transformation and continuous improvement
- Experiencing managing an enterprise relationship with SAP, SI's, consulting partners and AMS providers
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Business, Engineering, or a related field
- PMP, Agile and APICS certifications
- Management consulting (or similar experience) focused on strategic process alignment
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Program management skills with significant knowledge of project planning tools
- Excellent analytical, strategic conceptual thinking, planning and execution skills
- Ability to balance a strategic viewpoint with the ability to bring others along
- Advanced knowledge of business processes for manufacturing industries
- A distinctive blend of business, IT, financial and communication skills
- Ability to develop and execute a strategic plan
