Job Summary
Director of Information Technology with responsibility for IT strategy, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and enterprise systems across Plymouth corporate office and Elk River manufacturing facility. Oversees NetSuite ERP/HRIS, RedZone MES/OEE, Microsoft 365, and a broad suite of SaaS tools; leads an IT team, manages budgets and vendor relationships, and drives AI adoption and data governance. Partners with Finance, Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, HR, and GTM; ensures security, business continuity, disaster recovery, and food-safety-related IT needs in a fast-growing, production-focused environment; requires cross-functional collaboration, strong communication, and leadership to enable scalable technology across both office and plant settings. Travel between locations is regular; hybrid on-site presence is expected.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; equivalent experience considered
- 8+ years of progressive IT experience with at least 3 years in a leadership or director-level role
- Experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or CPG environment strongly preferred
- Demonstrated experience owning and presenting technology strategy and budget to executive leadership
- Experience managing IT Managers or senior technical staff
- Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (NetSuite a strong plus), cloud platforms, and SaaS applications
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 administration (SharePoint, Teams, Azure AD, Entra ID)
- Experience with network infrastructure, endpoint management, and IT security frameworks
- Familiarity with manufacturing plant technology environments (OT/IT convergence, MES such as RedZone)
- Understanding of EDI, WMS, and supply chain data integration practices
- Demonstrated experience with AI tools, automation platforms, and driving technology adoption across a non-technical workforce
- Ability to develop and present IT budgets and business cases to leadership
